CTVS OT Technician & Physician Assistant

About the role

The Indian Association of Physician Assistants is seeking a full‑time CTVS OT Technician and Physician Assistant to work on‑site in Jaipur. You will support cardiothoracic and vascular surgeons in the operating theatre, ensuring instruments, equipment and sterile fields are prepared and maintained throughout procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and set up surgical instruments, OT equipment and sterile fields for cardiothoracic and vascular cases.
• Assist surgeons during intra‑operative procedures and monitor patients pre‑, intra‑ and post‑operatively.
• Document clinical information accurately and maintain up‑to‑date medical records.
• Coordinate with surgical, anesthesia and nursing teams to manage OT schedules and supplies.
• Support post‑operative rounds, patient education and quality‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Relevant clinical training and certification as a Physician Assistant or OT Technician.
• Experience or specialization in cardiothoracic and vascular surgery is highly desirable.
• Ability to work in a high‑pressure surgical environment with strong attention to detail.
• Commitment to continuous learning and adherence to IAPA ethical standards.
