CSR Support Officer

About the role

The CSR Support Officer will assist in planning, implementing, and monitoring a wide range of corporate social responsibility initiatives across mining communities. This role focuses on health, education, livelihood, and environmental projects to improve the well‑being of local populations.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate the implementation of CSR projects such as health nutrition programmes, anaemia mitigation, maternal and child care, and WASH initiatives.
• Support livelihood projects including millet cultivation, entrepreneurship, agriculture, animal husbandry, and women‑empowerment groups.
• Manage education‑related activities like school infrastructure, career counselling, and community learning centres.
• Oversee water conservation, waste management, and rural sports and cultural promotion.
• Conduct baseline surveys, impact assessments, and cost‑benefit analyses to maximise social return on investment.
• Develop and maintain grievance handling mechanisms and data‑capture processes through the CSR portal.
• Identify social risks, prepare risk calendars, and contribute to safety culture initiatives in peripheral villages.
• Network with NGOs, government agencies, and other stakeholders to align and integrate CSR efforts.

Required profile

• Relevant degree or diploma in social sciences, community development, environmental studies, or a related field.
• Experience in coordinating community‑based projects, preferably in a mining or industrial setting.
• Strong analytical abilities for impact assessment and cost‑benefit analysis.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑engagement skills.
