Credit Controller – French Language Expert

About the role

We are looking for a Credit Controller who is fluent in French and English to manage credit risk for our French‑speaking customers. You will assess creditworthiness, support collections, and ensure timely payment while maintaining strong relationships with corporate clients.

Key responsibilities

• Investigate and approve credit applications within established guidelines.
• Liaise with corporate customers and internal departments to resolve credit issues.
• Negotiate payment terms on overdue accounts.
• Perform routine entry‑level credit control tasks.
• Connect with clients via calls and emails to provide regular support.
• Minimize financial risk by assessing and advising on customer creditworthiness.

Required profile

• Fluency in French and English, both written and spoken.
• Bachelor's degree in Translation, Linguistics, or a related field.
• 3+ years of professional translation experience.
• Strong understanding of French culture and linguistic nuances.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
