Credit Controller – Chinese Language Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a Credit Controller who can assess and advise on the creditworthiness of Chinese‑speaking customers. The role combines credit risk assessment, collections and strong communication in both written and spoken Chinese.

Key responsibilities

• Investigate credit applications and approve them within established guidelines for corporate and individual customers.
• Liaise with corporate clients and internal departments to resolve credit issues.
• Negotiate payment terms on overdue accounts and support the sales team in debt‑collection matters.
• Maintain regular contact with clients via phone and email to provide support and ensure timely payments.
• Minimise financial risk by continuously evaluating the creditworthiness of existing and prospective customers.

Required profile

• Proven experience in credit control or accounts receivable.
• Fluent Chinese language skills (written and verbal).
• Result‑driven, able to work under tight deadlines while maintaining high standards.
• Strong negotiation abilities and a customer‑focused attitude.
• Excellent multitasking skills with the ability to prioritise key tasks.
