Crane Electrician Technician (Crawler & Telescopic)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Crane Electrician Technician to join our team across project sites in India. The role focuses on electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of crawler and telescopic mobile cranes, ensuring safe and reliable operation.

Key responsibilities

• Perform electrical troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair on crawler and telescopic cranes.
• Read and interpret electrical circuit diagrams, wiring schematics, and hydraulic‑electrical interfaces.
• Diagnose faults in PLC systems, sensors, relays, CAN‑bus networks, limit switches, load‑moment indicators and safety devices.
• Inspect, repair, and replace wiring harnesses, batteries, alternators, starters, controllers and electrical panels.
• Attend breakdowns on‑site, provide rapid troubleshooting support, and coordinate with mechanical and hydraulic technicians.
• Conduct preventive maintenance and periodic inspections of crane electrical systems, including boom, outrigger, hoist and safety interlocks.

Required profile

• ITI/Diploma in Electrical or Electronics Engineering (additional crane maintenance certification preferred).
• 5–10 years of hands‑on experience in crane electrical maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with major crane OEMs such as XCMG, SANY, Liebherr, Demag or Tadano.
• Ability to work independently on project sites and under breakdown conditions.
