Cost Controller

About the role

The Cost Controller will monitor, analyze, and control project costs to ensure delivery within budget. You will provide accurate financial information to support decision‑making throughout all project phases.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor project expenditures against approved budgets.
• Prepare and maintain cost reports, forecasts, and variance analyses.
• Track commitments, purchase orders, sub‑contracts, and material costs.
• Support project teams with cost estimates, change orders, and budget revisions.
• Analyze cost trends and recommend corrective actions.
• Collaborate with project, procurement, and finance teams to ensure accurate cost data.
• Ensure compliance with company accounting procedures and project financial policies.
• Maintain documentation for audits, client reporting, and internal reviews.
• Assist in month‑end, quarter‑end, and year‑end financial reporting and analysis.
• Support project risk assessment from a cost perspective.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or Engineering.
• Professional certification such as CMA, CPA, or ACCA (preferred).
• Minimum 7 years of cost control experience in EPC, construction, or industrial projects.

Required skills

• Proficiency with cost control software.
• Experience using ERP systems.
• Advanced MS Excel skills.
• Power BI for reporting.
• Knowledge of Primavera P6 or similar project control systems.
