Corporate Legal Counsel

About the role

You will act as the principal legal advisor to the company, working closely with executive leadership to provide commercially pragmatic guidance across multiple jurisdictions. The role covers corporate governance, contracts, regulatory compliance, employment matters, M&A, risk management and litigation.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure ongoing compliance with laws, regulations and internal governance frameworks in all operating jurisdictions.
• Draft, review and negotiate commercial contracts and agreements.
• Advise on regulatory compliance, employment and labour issues.
• Support mergers and acquisitions, including due diligence and post‑deal integration.
• Identify, assess and mitigate legal risks, and manage litigation matters.
• Provide strategic legal counsel to senior management on business decisions.

• Strong sense of ownership and accountability with high professional standards.
• Ability to quickly research, understand and apply new legislation or unfamiliar jurisdictions.
• Clear communication of legal risks and commercially practical recommendations.
• Composure under pressure, capable of balancing multiple priorities.
• Excellent judgement, humility and confidence to challenge assumptions.
• Attention to detail, accuracy and thoroughness in all work.
• Proven relationship‑building skills across legal and non‑legal teams.
• Willingness to work onsite, travel internationally when required, and balance empathy with pragmatism.
