Corporate Communications Manager

About the role

The Corporate Communications Manager will lead integrated communication initiatives across product, corporate, executive and internal audiences for NMIPL in Gurgaon. This role is pivotal in shaping brand reputation, supporting business objectives and ensuring consistent messaging across all channels.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute product communications for vehicle launches, updates, technology stories and brand campaigns.
• Develop corporate storytelling, manage reputation, drive thought leadership and engage strategically with media.
• Create leadership messaging, speeches, talking points, presentations, interview support and executive visibility programs.
• Support employee engagement, leadership communication and organizational announcements through internal communications.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with automotive, business and mainstream media outlets.
• Manage communication agencies to ensure proactive, high‑quality delivery.
• Support issues and crisis communications, including preparedness, stakeholder management and rapid response.
• Track automotive trends, competitor activity and emerging issues to provide actionable communication recommendations.
• Partner with sales, marketing, after‑sales, product planning, HR, legal, manufacturing and leadership teams for cross‑functional alignment.

Required profile

• Post‑graduate degree in Journalism, Public Relations, MBA, Communications or a related field.
• 8–12 years of experience in automotive communications or a similar industry.
• Proven ability to write compelling content, manage media relations and present with executive presence.
• Demonstrated experience collaborating across functions and managing stakeholder expectations.
