Corporate Associate (2–3 years PQE) – Mumbai

About the role

Wadia Ghandy & Co. is seeking a motivated Corporate Associate to join its Mumbai office. The role is designed for lawyers with 2–3 years of post‑qualification experience who are eager to work on a broad range of corporate and commercial matters.

Key responsibilities

• Assist senior partners in handling general corporate and commercial transactions.
• Support M&A, private equity, and venture capital deals from due diligence to closing.
• Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of transaction documents.
• Conduct legal research and provide concise advice on corporate law issues.
• Maintain client relationships and ensure timely delivery of legal services.

Required profile

• 2–3 years of post‑qualification experience (PQE) in corporate law.
• Demonstrated experience in M&A, private equity, or venture capital transactions.
• Strong academic background with a law degree from a recognized institution.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

Required skills

• Proficiency in drafting and negotiating transaction agreements.
• Ability to conduct thorough legal research and analysis.
• Familiarity with Indian corporate and commercial law frameworks.
