Core PHP Developer

About the role

Exotian is a next‑generation B2B travel‑tech platform seeking a Core PHP Developer to help scale its flight and hotel search engines, integrate third‑party aggregators, and build robust B2B/B2C portals. The role involves working on high‑volume APIs, performance optimisation, and end‑to‑end booking lifecycle logic.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain flight and hotel search engines with real‑time availability and pricing.
• Integrate third‑party aggregator APIs and implement modules for search, fare rules, seat maps, booking, cancellations and refunds.
• Build fare‑caching layers using Redis or Memcached to improve search performance.
• Create B2B/B2C portals featuring markup, commission, wallet and credit‑control systems.
• Integrate payment gateways such as Razorpay and PayU.
• Develop dashboards and logs for booking flow, API errors, payment tracking and reconciliation.
• Monitor, debug and troubleshoot API failures, booking errors and production issues on AWS/GCP Linux environments.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of professional experience in backend development.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to work with high‑volume API architectures.
• Experience in travel‑technology or OTA environments is a plus.
