Copywriter & Social Media Manager

About the role

The Global Voice, an independent geopolitics media house, is looking for a creative copywriter and social media strategist to shape its online presence from its Goa office. You will turn complex geopolitical and historical topics into compelling, shareable content that resonates with an Indian audience.

Key responsibilities

• Write copy for Instagram, LinkedIn, X (Twitter) and YouTube – captions, hooks, thread openers, carousel scripts, reel scripts, and comment strategies.
• Draft scripts and shot briefs for the video editor, ensuring each video starts with a clear hook.
• Develop platform‑specific content strategies based on current trends and algorithmic nuances.
• Transform geopolitics, history, and Indian perspectives into educational and provocative posts.
• Implement social SEO to improve discoverability on Instagram, YouTube and LinkedIn.
• Track daily performance metrics (growth, reach, saves, shares, watch time, CTR) and adjust tactics accordingly.
• Identify emerging trends quickly and adapt them to the brand’s voice before they fade.
• Manage comment strategy and community engagement to amplify the brand’s voice.

Required profile

• Demonstrable portfolio of social media posts, captions, threads with measurable results.
• Strong interest and knowledge of geopolitics, history, and the Indian perspective.
• Understanding of the distinct dynamics of Instagram, LinkedIn, and X.
• Practical experience with social SEO techniques.
• Fluency with AI writing tools for brainstorming, drafting and trend spotting.
