Cooling Design Engineer

About the role

MAN Truck & Bus India is seeking a Cooling Design Engineer to join its Cabin and Chassis team in Pune. You will work on the design, testing and integration of automotive cooling system components for trucks and buses, contributing to the company’s sustainability and decarbonisation goals.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and validate cooling system components, including cooling lines, heat exchangers, expansion tanks, and fan shroud assemblies.
• Perform component‑level testing and support packaging and concept studies to ensure fit and function within the vehicle.
• Apply design guidelines for plastic and sheet‑metal parts, and follow DFM/DFA/DFS/DFMEA & DVP processes.
• Create 2D/3D models using CATIA V5 and manage data in PLM tools such as Windchill and Enovia.
• Utilise GD&T principles, SharePoint, Excel and PowerPoint for documentation and communication.
• Support release processes, change management and coordinate with cross‑functional stakeholders.
