Cooling Design Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Cooling Design Engineer to develop and optimize automotive cooling system components. The role involves designing plastic and sheet‑metal parts, performing component‑level testing, and ensuring designs meet manufacturing and functional requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Design cooling lines, heat exchangers, expansion tanks, fan shroud assemblies, and related modules.
• Conduct packaging and concept studies to verify fit and function within vehicle architecture.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams and stakeholders throughout the development cycle.
• Participate in DFM, DFA, DFS, DFMEA, and DVP activities.
• Manage release processes and change management documentation.

Required profile

• B.E./B.Tech or M.E./M.Tech in Mechanical or Automobile Engineering.
• 3–4 years of experience in automotive cooling system design.
• Strong analytical and foundational engineering skills.
• Effective communication and coordination abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency in CATIA V5 (2D/3D).
• Familiarity with PLM tools such as Windchill or Enovia.
• Understanding of GD&T principles.
• Competence with MS SharePoint, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Knowledge of automotive cooling components, testing methods, and plastic/sheet‑metal design guidelines.
