Control Center Engineer – Upstream Operations

About the role

We are looking for a Control Center Engineer to ensure the smooth operation of our central control hub, coordinating gas gathering stations and pipeline operations. The role involves real‑time monitoring, performance optimisation and incident management across upstream assets.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor parameters of gas gathering stations, pipelines and wells, flagging any deviations.
• Optimize pump performance, choke sizes and pigging frequencies based on data analysis.
• Prepare and approve daily MIS reports for production and performance review.
• Coordinate with pigging, wellhead and RGPL teams during operations and resolve gas quality issues.
• Develop and maintain emergency response plans for the entire CBM operation.
• Ensure timely reporting and root‑cause analysis of all incidents.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum three years of experience in upstream oil & gas, petrochemical or refinery environments.
• Hands‑on involvement in plant shutdown and start‑up activities.

Required skills

• Working knowledge of SCADA systems.
• Experience with DCS panel operation.
