Contract Lawyer – Remote (India)

About the role

Moritz is seeking experienced contract lawyers to join its curated network of independent attorneys. This remote, project‑based position allows you to work with leading technology companies on commercial agreements, offering flexibility and autonomy.

Key responsibilities

• Review, draft, and redline SaaS agreements, vendor contracts, NDAs, data‑processing agreements, and other commercial documents.
• Advise clients on contract terms, risk exposure, and negotiation strategies.
• Deliver high‑quality legal work with efficient turnaround times while managing multiple projects.

Required profile

• Licensed advocate in India, enrolled with a State Bar Council and in good standing.
• Minimum 5 years of experience focused on commercial contracts.
• Background in a top‑tier law firm or in‑house counsel role at a technology company.
• Active professional liability (malpractice) insurance.

Required skills

• Expertise in drafting and negotiating complex commercial agreements.
• Ability to work independently under tight deadlines.
