Continuous Excellence Manager (TPM)

About the role

Sun Pharma is seeking a proactive manager to lead its Continuous Excellence program. You will champion Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) and Total Quality Management (TQM) across assigned sites, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver capability‑building programs on Quality Circles, Daily Work Management, 5S, Kaizen, Poka‑Yoke and related tools.
• Facilitate implementation of TPM, Kaizen, DWMS, and other continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Coach and mentor QC and plant teams on quality‑circle projects, Six Sigma, and problem‑solving methodologies.
• Publish monthly MIS reports on Quality Circle and Six Sigma progress.
• Ensure regular project reviews with plant leadership and prepare status reports for senior management.
• Drive rewards and recognition programs based on project outcomes.
• Coordinate external training agencies, organize participation in competitions, and develop innovative training formats.

Required profile

• 5‑8 years of hands‑on experience facilitating Quality Circles, Kaizen, 5S, TPM, DWMS or similar TQM practices.
• Proficiency with Minitab software for data analysis.
• Strong analytical, communication and leadership abilities.
• Ability to guide teams through TQM principles and problem‑solving cycles.
• Willingness to travel up to 40 % across India.
• BE/BTech or pharmaceutical degree.
