Content Editor – Remote

About the role

Koimoi.com, a leading entertainment portal in India, is looking for a Content Editor to proofread, edit and publish entertainment articles remotely. The role involves ensuring high‑quality, error‑free content that aligns with the platform’s style guidelines.

Key responsibilities

• Proofread and edit articles for grammar, spelling, punctuation and clarity.
• Maintain zero‑error, plagiarism‑free copy and ensure factual accuracy.
• Apply style guides to keep consistency in tone and language.
• Collaborate with writers and editorial team to deliver quality content.
• Perform typographical and formatting checks, suggest revisions and enhancements.
• Re‑write press releases and occasionally write articles from given pointers.
• Publish edited articles on WordPress (training provided) and meet deadlines.

Required profile

• 2‑4 years of experience as a proofreader or content editor in online media or entertainment.
• Graduate with expert‑level written and spoken English and impeccable grammar.
• Strong knowledge of grammar, spelling and punctuation rules.
• Attention to detail and exceptional editing skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience writing entertainment content online is a plus.
