Consumer & Shop Insights Associate Manager

About the role

The Consumer & Shop Insights Associate Manager acts as the primary point of contact for active projects, coordinating end‑to‑end activities between sector owners, Global Insights, GBS teams and external agencies. The role blends data analysis, storytelling and stakeholder management to deliver actionable consumer insights.

Key responsibilities

• Align briefs, secure internal sign‑offs and design research paths, including tool selection, analysis approach, timelines and agency scope.
• Oversee execution by connecting with analysis teams or agencies to ensure high‑quality outputs.
• Synthesize BIG data (what is happening) and THICK data (human motivations) into compelling PowerPoint narratives for local and global PepsiCo business teams.
• Own the creation of full analyses and concise one‑page summaries for all projects.
• Manage the GBS 360AO team (currently one analyst), coach and build capability, and define ways of working across GBS, Strategic Growth Insights and sector teams.

Required profile

• Proven experience in trends and foresight projects (e.g., post‑COVID consumer shifts, flavor innovation, health‑benefit trends).
• Familiarity with big‑data and social‑listening tools; ability to run consumer research analyses independently.
• Strong written communication, especially in PowerPoint and email, and fluency in English and Arabic.
• Quick learner of new self‑serve platforms and analytical tools.
