Consultant – Training and Capacity Building

About the role

PwC is seeking a Consultant to lead skill development and capacity‑building initiatives for self‑help groups, artisans and MSMEs in Jharkhand. You will design and deliver training programs that enhance entrepreneurial and managerial capabilities, linking local enterprises to broader markets.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct skill‑development programmes for SHGs and artisans, covering planning, marketing, packaging, quality management and certification.
• Organise awareness sessions for MSMEs on testing labs, standards and equipment operating procedures.
• Provide machinery training and ensure proper use of equipment.
• Train stakeholders on marketing linkages, e‑commerce, digital marketing and customer engagement to support go‑to‑market strategies.
• Collaborate with external consultants on product design, innovation, quality management, IPR and product certification.

Required profile

• Postgraduate degree in Management (MBA), Education, Public Administration, Agriculture, Social Sciences or related fields.
• Minimum three years of experience delivering training and capacity‑building programmes.
• Experience in design, product development, quality management, IPR or product certification is an advantage.
