Consultant - Business Consulting Risk, Process & Controls (Finance Services)

About the role

EY Consulting is hiring a consultant in Mumbai for its Financial Services Risk practice, covering process and controls. The role sits within the Business Consulting sub-service line, which helps clients identify and manage the trade-off between upside and downside risk so they can make long-term decisions that support their strategy. The practice covers enterprise risk, technology risk and financial services risk.

Key responsibilities

• Apply internal audit methodology, including planning, scoping and executing audit engagements.
• Use risk assessment frameworks to identify, evaluate and prioritise process and control risks.
• Design, document and test process and internal controls to confirm their design and operating effectiveness.
• Analyse business processes and control environments to find gaps, inefficiencies and areas for remediation.
• Translate audit findings into clear, actionable recommendations for process improvement using structured consulting approaches.

Required profile

• Bachelor of Commerce degree.
• Experience in internal audit.
• Ability to work collaboratively across client departments while following commercial and legal requirements.
• Practical approach to solving complex problems, with agility, curiosity and adaptability.
