Construction Project Manager – ROB/RUB Projects

About the role

Ghai Buildcon is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to lead Road Over Bridge (ROB) and Road Under Bridge (RUB) projects in Nagpur. You will own the full project lifecycle, from planning and execution to commercial closure and billing, while maintaining strong relationships with clients and authorities.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and monitor ROB/RUB activities to meet quality, cost, and schedule targets.
• Provide hands‑on technical oversight of Reinforced Earth (RE) panel installation and RE wall construction.
• Own project planning and scheduling using Primavera P6 or MS Project.
• Manage day‑to‑day interface with site authorities, lead progress reviews, and resolve site issues.
• Prepare and process client billing, RA bills, measurement sheets, certifications, and variation/claim documentation.
• Control project budget, cost, and profitability against estimates.
• Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams (planning, quality, safety, stores, surveys).
• Lead contract administration, manage variations/claims, and ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
• Ensure safety, quality (ISO 9001), and statutory compliance on site.
• Mentor and manage site engineering staff, building a strong on‑site organization.
• Report project status, risks, and financials to senior management.

Required profile

• 8–12 years of experience in infrastructure/bridge/highway construction, with hands‑on RE panel and wall experience.
• Prior end‑to‑end management of ROB/RUB or similar bridge projects, preferably with a Tier‑1 EPC contractor.
• Proven experience handling client billing, RA bills, and commercial documentation.
• Experience managing project budgets and cost control (P&L exposure preferred).
• Degree in Civil Engineering (Diploma with strong experience considered); PMP or equivalent certification is a plus.
• Willingness to be based on‑site in Nagpur.
