Construction Manager – Solar Projects

About the role

The Construction Manager will lead on‑site execution of utility‑scale, commercial and industrial solar PV projects. Reporting to the Project Director, you will ensure that all civil, structural, mechanical and electrical works are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to the required quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and supervise day‑to‑day construction activities across all disciplines.
• Develop and implement construction execution plans, work methodologies and site logistics strategies.
• Monitor progress against approved schedules, identify variances and drive corrective actions.
• Supervise site engineers, supervisors, subcontractors and construction crews, optimizing manpower, equipment and material usage.
• Enforce HSE policies, conduct safety inspections, toolbox talks and risk assessments.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, codes and quality standards; manage inspections and non‑conformance reports.
• Collaborate with engineering, procurement, QA/QC and client representatives to secure timely delivery of drawings, equipment and materials.
• Control construction costs, resource utilization and productivity, supporting budget adherence.
• Act as the primary interface with clients, consultants, subcontractors and local authorities, providing regular status updates.
