Construction Manager

About the role
We are seeking an experienced Construction Manager to lead the execution of high‑voltage substation projects (220 kV and above). The role involves overseeing all phases of construction, ensuring compliance with technical standards, and coordinating with stakeholders such as PGCIL.
Key responsibilities
- Plan, schedule and supervise substation construction activities from mobilization to commissioning.
- Manage site resources, subcontractors and material logistics to meet project timelines.
- Ensure adherence to safety, quality and regulatory requirements, especially those set by PGCIL.
- Monitor progress, prepare reports and communicate status to senior management.
- Resolve technical and operational issues on‑site promptly.
Required profile
- Proven experience in constructing 220 kV and higher voltage substations.
- Familiarity with PGCIL standards and procedures.
- Strong background in construction management within the power sector.
- Ability to work effectively on‑site and coordinate multidisciplinary teams.
Required skills
- Proficiency in MS Office for reporting and documentation.
