Construction Manager – Industrial Projects & PEB

About the role

The Construction Manager / Project Manager will lead the planning and coordination of industrial construction projects, ensuring they are delivered safely, on time, and within budget. This role oversees site execution, aligns work with design specifications, and supports contractors throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor on‑site execution to ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, and standards.
• Validate contractors' work statements and methodologies, ensuring alignment at the site.
• Maintain all documentation for assigned work items and flag potential bottlenecks early.
• Prepare and deliver critical activity reports to the client.
• Advise contractors on resource productivity using work‑study techniques.
• Monitor procurement of materials, equipment, and labour against the schedule and recommend improvements.
• Assist the QA/QC lead in meeting quality parameters.
• Support the safety team in implementing safety standards and job safety analyses.
• Escalate any abnormal developments in progress, safety, quality, or resources to the Project Manager.

Required profile

• B.E. in Civil Engineering with 15‑20+ years of relevant experience.
• Completed at least one to two full‑cycle industrial/PEB projects.
• Experience with a Project Management Consultancy is preferred.
• Technical awareness of civil, electro‑mechanical, and architectural works.
• Strong organizational, motivational, and detail‑oriented abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
