Construction Manager – Industrial Park Projects

About the role

The Construction Manager will lead the planning, coordination and supervision of all construction activities for the Industrial Park project near Vishakapatnam. The role ensures compliance with designs, specifications, quality, HSE, schedule, cost and contractual obligations while managing interfaces among contractors, utilities and stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and monitor construction activities, reviewing and approving contractor work programmes.
• Administer contracts, monitor compliance, manage change requests and develop claims and dispute resolution processes.
• Prepare and present monthly progress reports, including schedule status, delays, risk mitigation and recommendations.
• Oversee quality assurance, testing, commissioning and handover, including approval of as‑built drawings and issuance of completion certificates.
• Coordinate with government agencies (GoAP, APBDICL, Department of Chemicals and Pharmaceuticals) to obtain necessary permits.

Required profile

• Minimum 15 years of experience in civil engineering project management and construction supervision of infrastructure, industrial parks or SEZ projects.
• Graduate degree in Civil Engineering.
