Construction Lead – Site

About the role

The Construction Lead – Site is responsible for driving daily site‑level execution of construction projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest safety and quality standards. Acting as the primary liaison between the Project Head and on‑site teams, this role coordinates cross‑functional activities and facilitates clear communication.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, monitor, and execute site activities in line with project schedules and budgets.
• Coordinate with planning, stores, quality, and EHS functions to maintain smooth operations.
• Supervise subcontractors and workmen, enforcing quality, safety, and productivity standards.
• Track progress, identify deviations or delays, and proactively resolve site‑level issues.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and statutory guidelines across the site.
• Support the Project Head in preparing reports, MIS, and client updates.
• Participate in client and consultant meetings, handling inspections, audits, and approvals.
• Implement site‑level digital tools and reporting systems.
• Drive continuous improvement, process adherence, and cost optimisation.
• Maintain proper documentation of site logs, DPRs, material reconciliation, and billing support.

Required profile

• Proven experience in site‑level construction management or coordination.
• Strong ability to lead and communicate with cross‑functional teams and subcontractors.
• Demonstrated focus on safety, quality, and budget adherence.
• Experience preparing project reports, MIS, and client communications.
• Capability to identify and resolve operational issues quickly.
