Construction Lead – Large‑Scale Aviation Projects

About the role

Turner & Townsend is seeking an experienced Construction Lead to drive the delivery of large‑scale infrastructure projects within the aviation sector. You will be responsible for overseeing site execution, managing contractors, and ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead on‑site construction activities, supervise contractors and ensure compliance with design specifications.
• Develop, monitor and update construction schedules, proactively addressing any delays.
• Coordinate with consultants, client representatives and other stakeholders to align project objectives.
• Implement quality assurance processes to meet industry standards and project specifications.
• Identify, assess and mitigate construction‑related risks throughout the project lifecycle.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in construction management of large‑scale infrastructure projects.
• Proven experience in aviation or transport‑related projects is highly desirable.
• Strong leadership, communication and problem‑solving abilities.
