Construction Laborer I

About the role

Cinterra is seeking a Construction Laborer I to support electrical utility and solar construction projects. The role involves preparing job sites, operating hand and power tools, and assisting heavy‑equipment operators on busy solar sites.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and clean job sites, including hand digging to expose utilities.
• Operate tamps, jackhammers, and other miscellaneous equipment safely.
• Assist supervisors with assigned tasks and report equipment repairs.
• Support heavy‑equipment operation (bulldozers, forklifts, backhoes) in compliance with safety policies.
• Load, unload, store, and protect project materials and equipment.
• Fully restore excavations after installation work.
• Provide accurate daily reports and coordinate actions with other workers.
• Maintain company vehicles when assigned and handle special assignments as requested.

Required profile

• Minimum two years of construction experience.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Familiarity with OSHA regulations (training preferred).
• Valid driver’s license with a clean record.
• Ability to work long or extended hours, including weekends, and travel frequently.
