Concierge – Guest Relations for Cliffside Restaurant

About the role

The Cape Goa, an iconic cliffside restaurant in South Goa, is seeking a warm and proactive Concierge to be the first point of contact for guests. You will create memorable first impressions, guide visitors through their dining experience, and ensure a seamless journey from arrival to departure.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome guests warmly, escort them to waiting areas or tables, and build rapport.
• Handle guest enquiries, resolve minor issues, and escalate when needed.
• Manage restaurant reservations, waiting lists, and special requests, coordinating with the manager and floor team.
• Provide information on menus, events, local attractions, and arrange transport or taxis.
• Support guests celebrating special occasions such as birthdays or anniversaries.
• Communicate with kitchen staff about allergies or dietary requirements.
• Maintain a clean and polished reception area and ensure promotional materials are up‑to‑date.

Required profile

• Previous experience in hospitality, guest relations, front office or concierge roles.
• Excellent spoken English; additional languages are a plus.
• Strong organisational and communication abilities.
• Friendly, confident, guest‑focused personality with the ability to stay calm under pressure.

Required skills

• Computer literacy and familiarity with reservation systems.
