Computer Science Teacher

About the role

We are looking for an innovative Computer Science Teacher to join our school’s International Baccalaureate (IB) programme. The successful candidate will inspire young learners by delivering technology‑focused, inquiry‑based lessons that develop computational thinking and real‑world problem‑solving skills.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, inquiry‑based lessons aligned with the IB framework.
• Develop students’ computational thinking, creativity, collaboration and problem‑solving abilities.
• Integrate technology and real‑world applications into everyday learning.
• Design, implement and assess meaningful projects and hands‑on learning experiences.
• Encourage participation in robotics, coding and innovation competitions.
• Collaborate with colleagues on interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary initiatives.
• Contribute positively to the wider school community.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Robotics, Engineering, Education or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of teaching experience within an IB programme.
• Strong understanding of IB philosophy and inquiry‑based learning.
• Experience creating student‑centred, concept‑driven learning experiences.
• Excellent communication, collaboration and classroom‑management skills.
• Passion for technology, innovation and preparing students for the future.
