Compose Multiplatform Developer

About the role

AdGrid, an early‑stage AdTech‑FinTech startup, is looking for a Compose Multiplatform Developer to create shared‑UI applications that run natively on Android, iOS, and desktop from a single Kotlin codebase. You will own the end‑to‑end delivery of UI layers, performance, accessibility, and stability while collaborating closely with product, design, and backend teams.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and build shared UI layers using Compose Multiplatform together with shared domain, networking, and storage modules.
• Implement pixel‑perfect, responsive UIs with smooth animations, custom composables, and full accessibility support.
• Integrate REST/GraphQL APIs, OAuth2/JWT auth flows, payments, analytics, push notifications, and deep links.
• Manage data caching, sync strategies, persistence (SQLDelight/Room) and conflict handling for offline reliability.
• Enforce security measures such as secure storage, certificate pinning, obfuscation, and input validation.
• Maintain quality through Compose UI tests, snapshot testing, unit/integration tests, CI pipelines, code reviews, and release hygiene.
• Monitor performance metrics (recomposition counts, startup time, memory, ANR/crash analytics) and drive fixes against defined SLOs.

Required profile

• 1‑3 years of mobile development experience with production apps built in Compose (Jetpack or Multiplatform).
• Strong fluency in Jetpack Compose concepts such as state hoisting, composition locals, side effects, custom layouts, and theming.
• Hands‑on experience targeting both Android and iOS with Compose Multiplatform.
• Proven ability to craft high‑quality UI, including typography, spacing, motion design, dark/light theming, and accessibility.
• Clear communication, strong ownership, and comfort working in a fast‑paced product team.
