Compliance & Taxation Lead - Accounts/Finance

About the role

We are seeking a Compliance & Taxation Lead to own end‑to‑end statutory and tax compliance for our fast‑growing technology business. The role will ensure accurate filing, audit readiness and robust financial governance across all regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and file GST returns (GSTR‑1, GSTR‑3B, GSTR‑9/9C) and reconcile input tax credit.
• Manage TDS and direct tax compliance, including filings and reconciliations.
• Finalize monthly and annual books and coordinate statutory and tax audits.
• Oversee ROC, PF, ESI compliance and maintain the compliance calendar.
• Handle GST notices, show‑cause notices and associated risk mitigation.
• Support banking documentation, working‑capital and debt facilities.
• Conduct payroll audits and ensure overall financial governance.

Required profile

• 3–8 years of hands‑on experience in taxation and statutory compliance.
• Proven ability to independently manage GST filings, audits and notice resolutions.
• Strong knowledge of Tally and accounting review processes.
• Experience coordinating with chartered accountants, auditors and regulatory bodies.
• Detail‑oriented mindset with a strong sense of ownership.
