Compliance Officer – Indian Sub-continent Zone

About the role

Philips is seeking a Compliance Officer to lead and develop the compliance programme for the Indian Sub‑continent Zone (ISC). You will advise the business on legal compliance matters, coordinate investigations, and help embed a culture of integrity across the region.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement the annual Zone compliance programme, including ISC Compliance Program 2.0 and India‑specific enhancements.
• Monitor execution through the ISC Compliance Committee, track remediation actions and maintain documentation.
• Translate audit findings and risk assessments into sustainable controls, action plans and evidence‑based reporting.
• Conduct periodic compliance risk assessments and design risk‑based training and communications for employees, leaders and third parties.
• Support due‑diligence, onboarding and ongoing monitoring of distributors, channel partners, agents and consultants across ISC.
• Provide timely legal compliance advice on anti‑bribery, healthcare interactions, competition law, conflicts of interest, gifts and hospitality, export controls, privacy and data‑protection, and other relevant risks.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of compliance and legal frameworks applicable to the Indian sub‑continent.
• Ability to coordinate investigations and drive remediation actions.
• Experience delivering risk‑based training and communications.
