Community Manager

About the role

Flecks Labs, a Hyderabad‑based game studio focused on Roblox titles, is looking for a Community Manager to own and nurture its Discord community. You will be the main point of contact for players, ensuring the server stays lively, welcoming, and well‑moderated.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the Discord server daily: keep conversations active, enforce community guidelines, and moderate content.
• Publish updates, teasers, sneak peeks, and patch notes aligned with content releases.
• Organise events, giveaways, code drops, and community challenges to boost engagement, especially on launch days.
• Answer player questions, report bugs to the development team, and follow up until issues are resolved.
• Recruit, train, and lead a moderator team, establishing clear rules and expectations.
• Gather and relay community sentiment, highlighting what players love, their complaints, and feature requests.
• Support the studio’s broader social presence on X, TikTok, and YouTube where it overlaps with Discord activity.

Required profile

• Proven experience running or moderating a gaming Discord, preferably Roblox, with communities of 5 000+ members.
• Ability to communicate in a tone that resonates with a young Roblox/anime audience.
• Consistent availability, including evenings and weekends around major launches.
• Clear asynchronous communication skills for collaborating with developers.

Required skills

• Discord administration (roles, permissions, channels, bots).
• Familiarity with bots such as MEE6, Dyno, Carl‑bot, or similar.
• Basic graphic design for announcements and event banners.
• Experience with Roblox group management and creator/influencer outreach.
• Knowledge of Discord bot setup or light automation.
