Community Manager

About the role

Safina Plaza, a vibrant retail and lifestyle destination on Infantry Road in Bengaluru, is seeking a Community Manager to foster strong relationships with tenants, visitors and the surrounding neighbourhood. The role focuses on driving footfall, enhancing visitor experience and creating a lively sense of place across the property.

Key responsibilities

• Design and execute community engagement initiatives, in‑mall activations and seasonal events to attract visitors.
• Build and maintain relationships with tenants and retail partners, addressing day‑to‑day concerns and coordinating joint promotions.
• Manage Safina Plaza’s social media channels, respond to visitor queries and gather feedback.
• Organise and host pop‑ups, collaborations with local brands, artists and community groups.
• Track footfall, engagement metrics and tenant satisfaction, reporting insights to senior management.
• Collaborate with café, retail and operations teams to ensure a consistent visitor experience.
• Handle on‑ground visitor relations, collect feedback and resolve complaints.

Required profile

• 2–4 years of experience in community management, mall/retail marketing, events or hospitality.
• Strong interpersonal and relationship‑building abilities.
• Comfortable managing social media and basic content planning.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and work on‑site, including weekends when required.
• Bachelor’s degree; marketing or hospitality background preferred.
