Community Manager

About the role

The Community Manager at NxtWave ensures every student placement is captured, documented, and shared across all channels on time. This role is not about creating social media content but about operating the end‑to‑end process that turns a placement into visible proof for the brand.

Key responsibilities

• Track daily placement data and verify completeness before any other activity.
• Contact placed alumni, conduct interviews, obtain consent and photos, and publish a LinkedIn post from the alumni’s profile within 3‑4 days.
• Coordinate testimonial video shoots, brief the video team, and ensure the final video is live within 12 days.
• Raise poster requests with the design team and enforce a 2‑3 day turnaround.
• Publish placement content on the website, LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube, WhatsApp communities, and performance media according to a fixed calendar.
• Share high‑impact content proactively with the Performance Marketing team.
• Build and manage the alumni community, matching alumni with prospective learners for trust‑building calls.
• Organise alumni meet‑ups every 2‑3 months and co‑own the experience.
• Drive 2‑3 genuine learner reviews daily across platforms and flag negative reviews quickly.
• Submit outcome reports every 15 days and keep process documentation up to date.
• Manage and support two CDAs and step in front of the camera when needed.

Required profile

• 2‑4 years of experience in community management, marketing operations, or program coordination.
• Strong communication skills – written, verbal, and on calls.
• Ability to handle multiple parallel tracks without losing context.
• Comfortable representing the community on camera.
