Community & Experiences Manager

About the role

Sorano is building an all‑day restaurant and bar in Mumbai that evolves from dining to aperitivo, drinks, music and a sophisticated late‑night vibe. We are looking for a Community & Experiences Manager who will shape the culture, build a loyal community and create memorable experiences that keep guests returning at different times of day.

Key responsibilities

• Design and execute a monthly calendar of events, collaborations and experiences across music, food, drinks, art, design, fashion and culture.
• Develop recurring event concepts that become synonymous with Sorano and measure their impact by attendance, revenue and brand value.
• Create distinct day‑part programming – aperitivo rituals, early‑evening drinks, dinner experiences, weekend and Sunday formats, and late‑night nightlife.
• Build and nurture a late‑night audience, coordinate DJ/music programming and work with operations to transition smoothly from dinner to nightlife.
• Establish and maintain partnerships with fashion, art, media, entrepreneurship, finance, hospitality and other relevant Mumbai communities.

Required profile

• Proven experience in event programming, community building or hospitality entertainment.
• Strong network within Mumbai’s cultural, creative and business scenes.
• Ability to work on‑site, engage directly with guests and understand the dynamics of a live venue.
• Creative mindset to develop recognizable rituals and experiences that become part of guests’ routines.
• Excellent relationship‑building skills with artists, DJs, creators, partners and bar staff.
