Communications Specialist – Operations Internal Communications

About the role

Amazon India is looking for a creative, self‑motivated, and analytical Communications Specialist to join the Operations Internal Communications team. You will shape how the Operations workforce across India experiences Amazon as an employer of choice by crafting compelling stories and engagement campaigns.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to design and execute a comprehensive communications plan for Amazon MEATR Operations.
• Develop internal communications for new programs, policies, organizational changes, and operational updates.
• Manage communication channels and track performance using data and metrics.
• Identify emerging topics and trends, creating timely communication plans.
• Partner with operation sites to deliver communications during issues, crises, and critical business moments.
• Work with translation agencies to localise materials accurately for associates across the region.
• Integrate Amazon’s core values, Leadership Principles, and strategic initiatives into everyday communications.
• Invent and simplify processes to create scalable, consistent employee communication experiences.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business, Journalism, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
• 7+ years of recent professional communications or public‑relations experience.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment.
• Exemplary written and oral communication skills with a talent for crafting compelling narratives for diverse audiences.
