About the role
The Communications Specialist will create and manage strategic communications that support the Knowledge Institute on Child and Youth Mental Health and Addictions. Working within CHEO in Ottawa, you will report to the Manager of Strategic Communications and help advance the Institute’s mission to strengthen mental health, substance‑use health and addictions services across Ontario.
Key responsibilities
- Develop, deliver, and continuously evaluate strategic communications initiatives.
- Mobilize evidence‑based information to strengthen knowledge and skills of target audiences.
- Collaborate with Ontario ministries and sector partners to promote high‑quality mental health and addictions care.
- Support system‑change efforts by communicating research findings and program updates.

- Report to the Manager, Strategic Communications.

- Competitive pay range of $45.37‑$53.39 (CAD) per hour.
