Communications & Events Manager

About the role

Pahlé India Foundation (PIF) is seeking a dynamic and creative Manager – Communications & Events to lead its external communications, digital content, and stakeholder events. The role combines strategic thinking with hands‑on execution to amplify PIF’s policy research and development agenda.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute an integrated communications strategy across digital, print, and media channels, ensuring consistent messaging.
• Write, edit, and publish high‑quality content such as press releases, op‑eds, policy briefs, newsletters, website copy, annual reports, and donor communications.
• Manage PIF’s social media presence on LinkedIn, X/Twitter, Instagram, and YouTube, creating platform‑specific content plans and analyzing performance metrics.
• Plan, coordinate, and execute events including policy roundtables, panel discussions, summits, donor convenings, and webinars, handling logistics from concept to post‑event reporting.
• Design visual assets for social media and events using tools like Canva and Adobe Express.
• Build and maintain media relationships, pitch stories, and track earned media coverage.

Required profile

• 5–6 years of demonstrated experience in communications, digital content creation, and events management.
• Confident, hands‑on professional capable of working independently.
• Strong strategic thinking paired with excellent execution ability.
• Ability to translate complex policy research into accessible narratives for diverse audiences.
