Communication Generalist – Political Consulting

About the role

We are seeking a Communication Generalist to shape political narratives and support election campaigns for a leading political consulting organisation in India. You will work closely with the Digital Advertising team and a diverse group of experts to deliver strategic storytelling across multiple media platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Develop strategic, compelling storytelling and messaging for political narratives and election campaigns.
• Design and execute digital advertising plans in alignment with business objectives.
• Identify, recruit, and manage a high‑calibre team to achieve communication goals.
• Supervise content creators and review narratives across Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, Sharechat, Moj, Telegram, and Koo.
• Conduct landscape assessments, competitor analysis, and continuous monitoring of political discourse.
• Support creation of advertising material that adheres to brand guidelines.
• Assist in planning, executing, and tracking emerging trends in the communications space.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of Indian politics, history, and current affairs.
• Fluent in written and spoken Gujarati.
• 4–10 years of professional experience in a media organization.
• Digital‑media native with expertise in communicating across social platforms.
• Ability to synthesize complex concepts into clear, concise narratives.
• Proven project‑management skills handling internal stakeholders, external agencies, and multiple campaigns.
• Thrives in fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environments and takes ownership of outcomes.
• Agile, flexible, and proactive with a can‑do attitude.
