Communication Generalist

About the role

We are seeking a Communication Generalist to shape narrative and digital advertising for political campaigns supporting the Prime Minister’s vision. The role combines storytelling, media planning and team leadership within a fast‑moving political consulting environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop strategic storytelling and messaging for political campaigns and related narratives.
• Design and execute digital advertising plans in coordination with the digital advertising team.
• Recruit, lead and mentor a high‑performing content team.
• Supervise content creators and ensure quality across platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, Sharechat, Moj, Telegram and Koo.
• Conduct landscape assessments, competitor analysis and monitor trends.
• Support creation of advertising material aligned with brand guidelines.
• Assist in planning, execution and tracking of emerging trends in political digital media.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of Indian politics, history and current affairs.
• Fluent in written and spoken Meitei, English and Hindi.
• 4‑10 years of experience in a media organization.
• Digital‑media native with proven ability to communicate effectively on social platforms.
• Excellent synthesis of complex concepts into clear, compelling narratives.
• Robust project‑management experience handling multiple campaigns and stakeholders.
• Comfortable in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment and willing to take on tasks beyond the core scope.
