About the role
The Commis III supports the kitchen team at a Hilton hotel, preparing and cooking dishes to the highest standards while ensuring safety and hygiene. This position works closely with the Sous Chef and Chef de Partie to deliver a seamless dining experience for guests and team members.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare food efficiently, economically, and hygienically according to standard recipes.
- Assist the Sous Chef or Chef de Partie in daily kitchen operations and prompt service.
- Maintain HACCP standards and ensure all kitchen equipment is used correctly.
- Participate in off‑site events and handle tasks outside the kitchen when required.
- Support inventory taking and respond to guest feedback professionally.
- Attend all training sessions and uphold a positive attitude toward colleagues.
Required profile
- Junior Middle School graduate or higher.
- Minimum 1 year experience as a cook or trainee in a 4‑ or 5‑star hotel or high‑standard restaurant.
- Valid health certificate.
- Good knowledge of Western cuisine.
Required skills
- HACCP food safety compliance.
- Proficiency with kitchen equipment and tools.
- Basic inventory management.
