Commis Chef – Kitchen Team Member

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Commis Chef to join our kitchen team. You will support food preparation across all sections, ensure high standards of quality and safety, and assist in daily operations.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee stock take, rotation and monitor supplies to minimise waste and control costs.
• Check all equipment before service and ensure front‑of‑house setups follow chef guidelines.
• Prepare and cook items across all kitchen stations, including mise‑en‑place, meat, poultry, seafood and vegetables.
• Maintain consistent quality and presentation according to company recipes.
• Follow HACCP procedures and maintain environmental separation standards.
• Provide backup support for service lines, banquet functions and external events.
• Execute opening and closing procedures as assigned.
• Collaborate with stewarding, F&B outlets and other departments to ensure smooth service.

Required profile

• Thorough knowledge of menus, recipes and preparation techniques across kitchen sections.
• Strong knife skills and solid understanding of HACCP and food safety regulations.
• Ability to monitor consumption, stores and receiving in line with Accor standards.
• Familiarity with hotel services and facilities to advise on food‑beverage pairings.
