About the role

Odd Culture is seeking a motivated Commis Chef to join its kitchen team in Gurugram. This full‑time, on‑site position offers the chance to work alongside experienced chefs, develop culinary techniques, and contribute to a vibrant dining experience.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with daily food preparation, including mise en place and basic cooking tasks.
• Support senior kitchen staff during service by plating dishes and ensuring consistency in taste and presentation.
• Maintain high standards of hygiene and follow food safety procedures.
• Store ingredients properly, rotate stock, and help with inventory management.
• Learn new recipes and follow instructions from senior chefs.

Required profile

• Strong interest in food preparation and basic cooking.
• Willingness to learn, improve, and work in a fast‑paced environment.
• Good communication skills for coordinating with the kitchen team.
• Relevant culinary education or training is a plus.
• Previous experience in a professional kitchen is desirable.
