Commis 2 – Continental & Pizza Chef

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Commis 2 Chef specialized in Continental cuisine and pizza preparation to join our fast‑paced retail food outlet in Mysuru. The role supports the Head Chef and ensures high‑quality dishes are delivered efficiently during service.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare pizzas, continental dishes and related menu items following standard recipes.
• Maintain food quality, portion control and presentation standards.
• Follow hygiene, safety and cleanliness protocols in line with FSSAI regulations.
• Manage stock, inventory and daily mise en place.
• Assist the Head Chef/Kitchen Supervisor during peak hours.
• Ensure timely order preparation while minimizing waste.

Required profile

• 2–4 years of experience in continental cuisine or pizza making in a retail food outlet, QSR or restaurant.
• Diploma or certificate in Culinary Arts (preferred but not mandatory).
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced kitchen and handle shift work, including weekends and holidays.
• Good personal hygiene and grooming standards.
