Commercial Logistics Officer (Dispatch & Billing)

About the role

The Commercial Logistics Officer will manage logistics‑related commercial operations for Welspun World. This includes coordinating dispatch, handling transportation, preparing invoices and billing documents, and ensuring compliance with statutory and company requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate dispatch planning and execution to meet customer delivery commitments.
• Prepare, verify, and maintain commercial documents such as invoices, delivery challans, e‑way bills, and transport paperwork.
• Collaborate with production, stores, sales, and finance teams to ensure smooth logistics and commercial flow.
• Arrange transportation resources, monitor vehicle placement, loading, dispatch, and delivery status.
• Manage transporter relationships, monitor service performance, and resolve logistics‑related issues.
• Verify freight bills, transportation charges, and other commercial transactions for timely processing and payment.
• Execute logistics billing and inventory‑related transactions in SAP/ERP systems and maintain accurate records.
• Monitor inventory movement, support stock reconciliation, and ensure data accuracy.
• Ensure compliance with GST regulations, e‑way bill requirements, transportation laws, and company policies.
• Assist internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and records.

Required profile

• Experience handling logistics and commercial operations.
• Familiarity with SAP or other ERP systems for billing and inventory tasks.
• Understanding of GST compliance and e‑way bill procedures.
