Commercial Delivery General Manager

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Commercial Delivery General Manager to lead our Mumbai office. Reporting to the Chief Commercial Officer, you will oversee the delivery of maritime contracts and services, ensuring safety, efficiency and profitability.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the Commercial Delivery Team to execute contracts and services in line with maritime regulations and company standards.
• Plan, resource, schedule and control costs for delivery activities, monitoring KPIs such as safety, financial results, timelines and customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate with chartering, operations, sales and finance to support commercial outcomes and client relationships.
• Provide leadership for all office staff, fostering a safety‑first, compliance‑driven culture and managing performance, coaching and succession planning.
• Ensure office operations meet regulatory, statutory and internal governance requirements, overseeing budgets, forecasts and financial performance.
• Identify and mitigate operational, commercial and regulatory risks and drive continuous improvement of processes and reporting.
• Act as senior escalation point for operational, people and client issues.

Required profile

• Extensive senior management experience in maritime, shipping, offshore or marine services organisations.
• Proven track record of leading large teams and delivering commercial projects safely and profitably.
• Strong understanding of maritime regulations, industry standards and safety requirements.
• Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills.
