About the role

As a Commercial Co‑worker you will be the front‑line ambassador of IKEA, helping customers enjoy a seamless shopping experience both in‑store and online. You will use product knowledge and digital tools to guide customers from inspiration to purchase, ensuring their needs are met and IKEA’s values are upheld.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and present product information, merchandising basics and digital solutions for customers.
• Engage with visitors, create a welcoming atmosphere and understand their needs.
• Demonstrate expertise in IKEA product features and benefits.
• Support self‑planning customers, conduct 1‑to‑1 planning appointments and convert offers into orders.
• Promote top‑selling and priority items to maximise sales while maintaining profitability.
• Process purchases, handle after‑sales support, manage returns and coordinate with matrix stores when required.
• Maintain product presentation, merchandising standards and digital tools throughout the store.
• Uphold IKEA’s sustainability commitments and contribute to continuous improvement of the customer experience.

Required profile

• Strong customer‑orientation with the ability to create a friendly and helpful environment.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to listen to and understand customer needs.
• Interest in retail, home furnishing and sustainability.
• Team player who collaborates to improve service quality.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced store environment.
