Collection Manager – Lending Collections

About the role

Paytm is looking for a Collection Manager to lead collection targets and control the collection flow for a designated area in Alwar. You will manage a large team of collection officers, oversee their productivity, and ensure effective repayment plans are in place.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve collection targets for the assigned area and manage case flow, focusing on non‑starters.
• Monitor and improve productivity of collection officers and agencies, setting performance parameters.
• Conduct weekly performance reviews with collection executives and ensure adequate field presence.
• Oversee background checks for collection agencies, identify training needs, and evaluate performance of collection executives.
• Support collection officers with legal, police, and other collection‑related issues.

Required profile

• More than 4 years of relevant experience in collections.
• Strong people‑management and leadership abilities.
• Demonstrated success orientation and achievement focus.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to build strong relationships and drive results in a high‑performance environment.
